A founding partner, Josh Gaunya is Vice President and Director of Operations at deasy penner podley. As a real estate agent, his focus has been on architectural, design-centric and historical single-family homes and estates. He has represented sellers and buyers of properties from the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Plaza, Beverly Hills to the Westside and beyond.
Additionally, he manages the deasy penner podley multi-unit division – a team dedicated to working with developers, investors and bankers to successfully market and sell several hundred design-centric condominium projects throughout Southern California.
Upon his arrival to Los Angeles, Josh worked as a sales agent for Mossler, Deasy & Doe, a residential real estate firm representing architectural and historic properties throughout Los Angeles.
Prior to real estate, he has worked for Gap Inc. in San Francisco, overseeing product development & design, marketing, merchandising, planning & distribution. As well as working on the trading floor at Tucker Anthony Investments, a mergers and acquisitions firm in Boston.
Josh graduated, Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Finance & Marketing and a minor in Sociology. He has always had a passion for design, which he attributes to working in construction development, beginning at childhood with his family. Josh has a great appreciation for design and culture and spends his free time exploring the urban landscapes of the world.
