Atop a steep street off Figueroa in Highland Park, this house, built in 1950, is in a prime location for views of neighboring hillsides. Two patios offer great vantage points for taking in those vistas.

Inside, the house has been totally updated, with only a few elements here and there hinting at its age, like the hardwood floors that run throughout the residence and fabulous and sunny, vintage-looking custom cabinets in the kitchen.
